I'm Eliana Gutiérrez, from Madrid, with a degree in Advertising and PR from the University of Valladolid and a Specialisation Diploma in Illustration from the Polytechnic University of Valencia.

I love to draw expressive and slightly ironic characters in an imperfect way. Whenever I can, I add a touch of humour to my drawings, so I feel that, although I am almost always aimed at children and young people, my work is suitable for all audiences, including adults.

I work digitally although I usually sketch with pencil and ink. Occasionally I use an analogue medium to create textures and use them in my digital drawings.

Thanks to my background in advertising I am a fairly balanced mix of artist and project manager, and this helps me a lot to organise my commissions.

I give creative workshops for children of all ages, and even for adults who want to investigate the world of illustration.
